Not your typical Marriott property

As a weary traveler, driving from Western Canada towards Texas, we decided on staying our first night at a Marriott property as they are consistently a good hotel brand/chain! I was shocked with the price point of $200 (incl taxes) for a Fairfield Inn. I was informed several times on the phone that this was one of their superior locations...

The property was well maintained and staffed, the room was exemplary, the complementary breakfast was worthy and greatly appreciated. The location was ideal and my stay couldn't have been better. This will be my got-to hotel whenever I am in Spokane.

Enjoyed my stay. The people were attentive and courteous. The room was clean and always completed by end of day. The only problem that I encountered was the neighboring room engaged the door locking latch so they wouldn't have to use the keycard. The constant banging was irritating.

Check in was quick. There is one elevator in the center of the hotel and stairs at both ends making it very easy to get up and down.
Our room had 2 queen beds. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. The bathroom too was very clean and modern.

Breakfast was running out of everything so all I had was coffee and and apple. My son had toast. Bed was uncomfortable and they put us right next to the pool which was loud and I have a 17 month old son. Not cool.
