This is NOT a doctor who listens to or acts on your concerns and I strongly recommend finding another doctor. After being on high cholesterol medication and monitoring my blood work for a decade, I know that a very high triglyceride number means something is wrong. We have been going to Dr. Levine for probably at least 15 years. He never rushes thru the visit. People complain about the wait, but he will spend as long as you need to talk to him about your health--aches, fear of test results, anything. He never looks at his watch.
