We stopped in with our 2 pups as we were on our yearly vacation traveling the east coat of fl in search of breweries yet to be known to us.
They were having a humane society event, in other words our digs got to attend a dog party, we got to drink craft brews and now we are considering leaving Siesta Key for Amelia Island.
That is how much we loved being at The Dog Star Tavern.
They welcome dogs. We have two and so we took them and drank some beers. Not fancy but great for the right person and dog.
My favorite bar on the island! They really do treat me like a dog star!!
It's a bar that needs to have a total renovation. The beer is over priced. Get this...... one small red bull............. 5 bucks...... wtf. The music was ok but there is better on the island.
