This doctor truly thinks outside the box and is not "bought" by the big pharmaceutical industry like other GP's. If you want an antibiotic for any little sniffle, go elsewhere. If you want to get to the root of chronic medical issues, he's your man. He will recommend testing not covered by insurance but it's the only way we found out the root cause of some serious health issues I was having.

Dr. Rust is amazing! He has helped me tremendously with my hormones as well as finding the root cause of my joint pain. He continues to learn and is always telling me about new research. He is one of the only doctors I've worked with that incorporates functional medicine into his practice. He looks for the root cause and doesn't just treat the symptoms. He is not seeing new patients for checkups unless you first go through a lengthy consolation meeting and only after will they schedule you for a separate check up. Also his reception staff is not helpful or friendly.
