We were happy to find that Jacksonville offers a Volunteer Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program. We visited several schools and fortunately decided upon Chappell. In a class by itself, this place doesn't even compare to what you typically get at a child care place. Most others seem to be just full-time "babysitting." Chappell is simply "head and shoulders" above the rest. They care, they treat the kids as individuals, they teach them, and make their entire experience, every day, rewarding.
My 5 yr old daughter absolutely loves this school. The teachers and staff are amazing and truly care about the kids. The curriculum is great - my daughter isn't even in kindergarten yet and she already recognizes all of her letters and numbers and is beginning to read small words all by herself.
