Kitschy character will win you over and make you think you're caught in your mother's hair salon. Not at all pink-poodly, but Rizzo would frequent this watering hole. Don't let the name fool you, this isn't just for girly-girls - dance floor mongrels, people watchers and loungers alike will be satisfied. Strong sweet drinks add to the sugar-and-spice atmosphere. Gets crowded fast; be prepared...

Great drinks... a bit pricey, but the music is great so I will endure. DJ Redeye nights are by far the most fun. Go early to get a drink otherwise you might not be able to get to the bar. Everyone...

This place here... It's a weird little room that gets hella packed on Thursdays. It's between Barcadia and what used to be the Slip In. When the Slip In was still open, Beauty Bar had it's own...

My new favorite place. I loved everything about Beauty Bar. The DJ was spinning great throwbacks and everyone was dancing. It's nice to go to a club that isn't filled with people posturing all night. The manager is cool and the staff worked really hard. Smoking on the patio keeps the inside of the club nice and fresh.

Manicure and Martinis happy hour? You’ll find it at Beauty Bar for just $10. The bar’s decor resembles a ’50s beauty salon and will have you looking for your phone to snap photos of your friends under the old-school, metal hair dryers. While the place can feel a bit empty early in the evening, blink and it will be packed with an extremely varied clientele hitting the dance floor. Rand Duren/Guide

Walk in here and you really feel like you've stepped back in time. The setup is part living room, part salon, but all 50s style with sea green and peach paint, glittery walls, retro chandeliers, vintage furniture, and real, antique dome hair dryers as seating. Head in during happy hour and you can grab a martini (try the Big D Blowout) and a buff and polish change for $10. Don't worry. Boys are...
