Our wedding was the first wedding AIA held, but you would have never guessed it! We were looking for a place a little bit different than most venues in DC. We wanted something modern and open and found it there, with the charm of the Octagon House as a backdrop. The space is fantastic and flows really well. My guests continue to talk about how amazing it was to dance under the stars in the heart of DC. Amy was super flexible and wonderful in working with our coordinator.
Things we liked:
- Contract is for entire site so you can adjust plans according to RSVPs and weather
- Site has free-to-use tables and chairs. Chairs are very conference-room looking, though.
- Our vendors were allowed in hours before our paid-for time because the site wasn't being used before our event
- Great alternative to the formality of the average DC hotel ballroom or historic house
