I have lived on-and-off in the Acacia since 1999. I've lived here six times, in five different apartments -- my current apartment was remodeled since the last time I lived in it, and the improvement is pretty impressive.
I lived here for about 7 years and couldn't have loved it more!!! The management is absolutely incredible and very very conscientious. The building and courtyards are beautiful and they are constantly doing little things to improve the building!!!!I would have never moved if my boyfriend didn't have a dog. The Acacia is a great first time apt. in denver. We lived there for a year and half and kept the place really clean and cleaned alot when we finally moved out for 13 days straight. The management is bad about fixing things pemanantly but will do a quick fix of a problem at their own pace, no matter how urgent. In the end these people just want your deposit and will find a way to keep most of it.
When I moved into Acacia back in the spring of '05, I couldn't have asked for a better place to live. The building has an awesome sense of character, and the management was phenomenal. I mean, how often do you hear of a resident manager who remembers every resident's birthday, and gives potential residents a full-premesis tour on a Saturday?
A great building, well maintained and with lots of character. Considering how many DJs and musicians live here, the noise factor truly is minimal once you're inside your apartment (although out in the hallways things can get echoey due to the stone floors).
