I loved the area and the variety of things from different ethnic groups. Where else can you find good Middle-Eastern food? The prices on the fruits and veggies were pretty good, too. I was hoping for more local farm goods like honey, jams and jellies, but we left very satisfied and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
With nothing going on outside , it was a bore. Just a few shops to see. The Arabia museum was much more fun. If you go wait until the summer.
I live in KC, so this is a frequent ritual for my family. But, whether you are local or not, you should visit. Obviously, the best time to go is Saturdays April through October, but if that doesn't fit into your plans, don't let it stop you.
