Felt like I was in a poor Mexico town.

Water in the bath tub had to be turned on with a faucet hidden in the wall of another room. Someone had removed a panel to get to it. Air conditioner was very small and could not cool the room. Bed sunk badly and did not offer any support for my back. No remote control for the T. V. Channel reception was very poor. Did not fell safe around the hotel after dark. Ice machine was out of order.

This hotel is an excellent value, but it quite old and a bit run down. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked. It did not work great, but it did cool the room. The bathroom was showing its age for sure. However, for the money, I expected this going in. There was nothing about this hotel that I could not tolerate and I knew that their continental breakfast would be minimal fare. I will stay...

It was not a good experience. Hotel.com gave me a room at the rate of $45. When I arrived at the hotel the staff there charged me $55. The hotel is directly across the street from the border of Mexico. The shower head in room 108 did not work and the tub looks terrible. Because I am unable to hear the alarm clocks, I have to bring my own device which requires me to insert the device in between...

It is your average motel for a reasonable price. It is very close to the border with Mexico and is three blocks to Downtown Brownsville. Stayed there for a night during business trip and was satisfied with the room and service.
