I dropped my sons car off at United Transmission of Springfield, because it appeared that the transmission in his car was slipping. Every time he would accelerate his tack would hit 3500 and the engine would rev very high (much higher than normal)but the car would pause and struggle to get out of its own way. Than the engine would seem to engage, the tack would drop to a normal level while the car would start to get power again. I met Lester (VERY NICE GUY)at the shop. He took the car for a free test drive and free diagnosis and said he would call me. I had to prepare myself for the news, because sometimes it always seem to be worst than expected. Well he called me back, and to my surprise it wasn't the transmission at all. It turned out to be a clogged catalytic converter. This Guy could have taken my son to the cleaners and replaced the transmission, instead he saved my son a boat load of cash. Its nice to see that there are still people out there that take the time to go out of the way to really help people. I have one last thing to say to Lester and The gang at United Transmission of Spfld.Great Job and keep up the Great work.
