In the heart of the central business district, this historic spot has an old-world, slightly faded feel, with 16-foot ceilings, a cage elevator, and a lobby with walnut-panel walls and a fireplace. Its antique charm is comfortable, not fussy, and each guest room is individually decorated. Some have genuine or reproduction Victorian furniture and electric candle sconces, and all have a lot of...
Some times. I get tires of drab big box hotels and I want something with character. The Biltmore in downtown Greensboro fits the bill. Small, charming, with history the nicely run hotel in the city center is very reasonably prices. Nice furnished and staff is helpful. The only downside like with many older properties is the windows remain single pain...
I am so glad I stayed at this hotel. It has a lot of history and the staff are wonderful and hospitable. Ask about the hotel history and you won't be disappointed. The breakfast pastries are superb. You feel like family when you stay here. It beats staying at one of the big chains for sure.

The hotel is truly historic, down to the elevator. We had a King on the first floor; the room was roomy, had a mini refrigerator and came with bottled water. The...

Although it has a very historic feel to it the room had a great air conditioner, which made it very comfortable. It was also very roomy...
