He is an awesome optometrist and great person. Truly, he is my lifesaver-- I have horrible vision, in fact to many regular optometrists I might be considered legally blind because of their inability to correct it. My vision is off the charts, and my astigmatism is so bad that even in a busy office an optometrist or ophthalmologist might only see 2 or 3 other cases like it in an entire year. I love these guys. My husband and I drive about 10 miles each way out of our way to go see Dr. Stolzberg because he is such a good optomotrist.
I originally went to see him about 7 years ago when I was having trouble with a presciption from another place. He was meticulous in evaluating my eyes and determined that the prescription was too strong; I had been over-prescribed. The way he explained it was it was like I owed 75 cents but was paying $2.25. He gave me a new prescription and all has been great. My husband also has ""tricky"" eyes and now he wouldn't go to anyone else.
