Nice theater. We had good seats/view for not paying premium price for them. Our granddaughters (7 & 5) enjoyed the Shen Yun show very much.

Fun Fact

The auditorium has served many uses over the years and seen many legendary performances. Everyone from Tommy Dorsey to the Rolling Stones. has played this state. The Warriors played their home basketball games here at one point, and there used to be very popular weekend boxing.

The Extras

The Civic is now used primarily for symphony performances, cabaret concerts, martial arts, volleyball and basketball games, and corporate trade shows.

The San Jose Symphony, Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley and American Musical Theatre of San Jose all appear regularly at the Center. In addition, the hall books another 25 to 30 dates a year for concerts, variety shows and other events.
