San Antonio Alamo Travelodge

Location Carpet threadbare, spring in bed poked through the mattress cover into my husband and another had been covered with duct tape, 1 washcloth for 2 people, ice machine down,dingy and dirty, seems like the door been kicked ìn-night lock coming out of the wall, and roaches.

That the locks were still intact. The staff were nice and accomodating. Overall okay stay, would stay again for price. That our door frame looked like someone had tried to previously kick the door open. 329 was kinda sketchy.

Proximity to the Downtown. One of the cheapest hotels near downtown. Cleanliness - Average Facilities - Average (Ex. No Microwave) Ofcourse, you cannot except 5 star cleanliness & facilities for this price.

The distance to the convention center. The whole inside and outside needs a deep pressure wash and cleaning. I didn't feel comfortable enough to get under the covers or take off my socks/shoes. It has potential but feels germ-y right now. If your staying 2-3 nights for a convention, suck it up and stay closer to the convention center.
