I was very unhappy with the way I was treated recently. First, the FFL transfer policy was not clear. An employee, Teri, stated that my brother would need a shop in TN to fax their FFL, Plano Pawn would fax theirs in return and then it could be shipped. She DID NOT state that this was a store policy and a requirement. Discovering the law did not require the shipper to have an FFL, my brother shipped a gun which belonged to my late father for $60.00 only to have it refused because of Plano Pawn's store policy.
I will never deal with this shop again, and I will recommend to all who will listen to take their business elsewhere. Let's put this shop out of business. Tell all your friends.

I have not needed a pawn shop since college, and the last one I was in, made me feel like I did not want to be there. The people down at Plano Pawn Shop made me feel welcome, joked and laughed with me. Just made me feel at home with the situation. I had an unexpected medical expense and need to some fast cash. I had some gold I wanted to sell. I had mapped out a few places: ""cash for gold stores"" along 75 Central Expwy (I laughed at them as I walked out), Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange (received a fair offer); & Plano Pawn Shop. Needless to say I sold them my gold! They were honest and showed me their testing of the gold, and then, most importantly, offered almost $100 more that the gold & silver place! A+++
