"Genius" chef Barbara Lynch "sets a high bar" at her "chic", "polished" Beacon Hill flagship, where "innovative" twists and "subtle" "depth of flavor" distinguish "impeccably prepared" French-Italian fare that's paired with "fantastic" wines and cocktails by "sublime" servers who "really know their stuff"; no, "it ain't cheap", but "smitten" foodies don't mind "breaking the bank" for such a...

In business since 1926, this is the oldest continuously operating guest ranch in Arizona. Over the years, it has served as a backdrop for numerous movies and TV shows, including Gunsmoke and John Wayne's Red River. The 6,500-acre ranch on the banks of Sonoita Creek is bordered by the Nature Conservancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Sanctuary, Patagonia State Park, and the Coronado National Forest....

The stellar cuisine at Chef Barbara Lynch's first restaurant continues to draw plenty of well-deserved attention from its place in the shadow of the State House's golden dome. Settle into the plush but unpretentious dining room and indulge in pumpkin risotto with rare lamb or the memorably rich prune-stuffed gnocchi drizzled with bits of foie gras, the latter of which is always offered even if...

No. 9 Park Restaurant Review

A special event is one reason to come to this French and Italian restaurant, but serious foodies, fans of chef-owner Barbara Lynch, and those with unlimited expense accounts round out the crowd. Lynch has made a name for herself with a wide range of eateries to her credit, including B&G Oysters, The Butcher Shop, Sportello, Stir, Drink and Menton. The interior is comfortably designed with muted...

Rich and fancy back when isn’t that different from rich and fancy today. This renowned restaurant in an old Beacon Hill town house has seen its share of both come and go over the years. Boston favorite Lydia Shire’s French and Italian inspired dishes are the type people want to talk about having to anyone who’ll listen after they’ve been. A little too much. Ridiculous wine list, elegant service...

Outstanding food. One of the best servers we have ever experienced. Thoughtful, friendly but not in your face. Definitively worth the visit.

The tasting menu is superb and not to be missed - if you can afford!

Ambiance in the bar area does not have a special quality that I would expect of such a high end location. About 50% of the dishes were very good and the others average. A bucket list item I'm glad we checked off but will likely not be returning.

Great place for foodies who appreciate upscale, romantic dining with thoughtful, creative and well-presented dishes for the sophisticated palate. My wife and I had a delightful date night with professional and welcoming service from Raymond, whose knowledge of the restaurant's offerings (and many other subjects) is extraordinary. Some recommendations include the stinging nettle pesto trofie,...

Tips about this business (3)

Save Money

On a budget? Head to the cafe, where a $45 three-course prix-fixe menu is offered.

Look Good

While there's no dress code, if you leave your finest power suit in the closet, you'll feel under-dressed.

Parking

The restaurant's valet service is a little pricey ($16). But use it: Between the State House's reserved spaces and Beacon Hill's resident parking, available spaces are scarcer than hen's teeth.
