Help us make it rightThings have drastically changed at MovieStop Huntsville. The rudeness of the employees is beyond what it should be. I used to go into Movie Stop once or twice, sometimes three times a week, and now I rarely go because I feel unwelcome when I walk in and unwelcome at checkout. I have spent a lot of money at MovieStop and now I feel I don't need to anymore. I would rather shop somewhere else or online than to deal with the rudeness of the employees. Granted there are a few that are very nice and make it part of their day to make you feel welcome, but some of the employees and some of the management need attitude adjustments. A prime example is the store manager. The last time I went into MovieStop and times before I was told that I was blocking the way of other customers that wanted to check out as I was next in line to pay for my movie. It was a brush off and leave kind of gesture I was given and I did not appreciate it. It was rude and uncalled for.I've received this kind of treatment a couple of times. I also have been threatened to be kicked out of the store for uncalled for reasons. It's not a very pleasant place anymore. I probably won't be back shopping in that store for quite some time.
Rather than saying "Hello, welcome to MovieStop", or "Hi, how are you?" or even making eye contact, the woman behind the counter continued her protracted conversation with another customer (who had already paid for his items and was on his way out) and, after about a minute, held out her hand to indicate that she was ready to look at the DVDs I'd brought in. When our transaction had been completed and I was signing the receipt, she leaned over and held out her hand again like I wasn't signing it fast enough. For the uninitiated, the place is a clip joint to begin with: they offer you almost nothing for your DVDs and not much more in store credit. (Unfortunately, there aren't too many options for selling used movies even if they're in near-pristine condition.) The last thing I need in addition to getting shortchanged is the kind of attitude I encountered yesterday at MovieStop. Woman with the long, dark, curly hair and words tattooed on your inner wrists, I'm talking about you.
This is a nice little shop if you are looking for older or hard-to-find movies on DVD. You can also trade in your used movies towards new ones, but that process seems a little tedious. But, if…
Moviestop is the best movie store I know of. They have thousands of titles and many of them are very low in price. I give Moviestop two thumbs up. I wish there were more Moviestops in America because it isnt a very known movie store.
Since 2004, Moviestop has been providing Video Disk/tape Rental To The General Public from Huntsville. Moviestop has estimated annual revenues of $92,000.00 and also employs an estimated 2 employees.
