What the community has to say about Midtown Art Cinema

Information about this business (4)

8 screens, 35mm & DLP Digital Projection. Built 1987, operated by Landmark since 2003, showing independent, foreign and documentary films

Screen Count: 8

A good movie theater is about so much more than just the movie. It's about seats that swallow your butt. The ability to watch the screen quietly (and not people texting on their phones). And sipping a...view more cocktail during Tyler Perry's umpteenth Madea flick. Luckily, you can do all these things if you know where to go. This list will help. And you'll even be able to...

The Midtown Art Cinema is quickly becoming the premier home for independent, foreign language and documentary films in the heart of midtown Atlanta.

We really enjoyed going to the Midtown Art Cinema. The only negative was the traffic getting there from the suburbs. The pretzel stuffed with jalapeño and cheese was delicious. The seats are OK. The beverage options including wine and beer are fantastic! The salts provided...

Great (mostly) Indie film Theatre

I really enjoy visiting the Midtown for current indie fare. They are probably the only cinema in ATL (that I know of, at least) who screen international live-action and animated features regularly. They also screen the UK's National Theatre Live events - which I adore....
