The grill and the oyster bar are adjacent--the difference is the bar. In Utah, because of the "Zion Curtain," the bar has to be separate.

We went to the Oyster Bar sat at a table. Order a drink don't waste your money in Utah the drinks have no alcohol in them. The worst state to get a drink or beer in a restaurants.

I had oysters Rockefeller, very good. Seafood salad (with crab and shrimp) is fantastic, they are generous with seafood. Will visit again.

We went here one night for a light dinner and a drink. The atmosphere was pleasant, service was friendly and prompt and the food was good. We had salad and the shrimp combo, a beer and a glass of wine. Very tasty.

The New York Hotel (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) was originally constructed as one of Salt Lake’s finest luxury hostelries by local mining magnate and businessman Orange J.
