THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Las Fajitas Restaurant Review

THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO LA FIESTA. Given that the Gaslamp Quarter is one of San Diego's principal dining districts, it seems surprising how little Mexican food of any kind has been available in the area. No surprise, then, that Las Fajitas was warmly welcomed when it opened in mid-1999. It's popular for both its extensive selection of fajitas as well as for a menu that explores...

Family-friendly Mexican restaurant known for classic fare and drinks turns up the heat on weekends.

In Short
Shined wood and marble floors at this expansive Mexican restaurant lead past a dark wooden bar to reveal plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. During the week, tourists and...

Nothing special

Average Rating

We went to this restaurant based on some "amazing" Tripadvisor reviews so perhaps our expectations were high. While there was nothing wrong with the place, it was "average at best". Service was average, food was average, drinks were average, price and value were average. We likely felt let down since we were expecting something special or spectacular based on the...

I had the salmon and my friend had the fiesta combo. It took forever to order and get food even though we were the ONLY people there on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. The hostess and another waiter straight up ignored us for at least 15 minutes before someone came to our table. The food was mediocre at best and...

Really bad

The food was ok but expensive regarding to the quality. The waiter had a bad behavior. He tricked us by letting us believe some tekila shots were on the house while they weren't and charged us with $12 the shot. We left the place really pissed off.

Awful

High prices for average food. Waiter's behaviour was very unprofessional. After the end of our dinner he offered us some tequilas . When the bill came we found out that the tequilas were, actually, included (12$ for each tequila shot) in the bill. We were very unhappy because we didnt't order these shots. He didn't seem to make any effort...
