My daughter recently "graduated" from this school. We couldn't have been more disappointed. It has long been my daughter's dream to become a hair stylist. Although she has a natural talent for...

DO NOT GO HERE AT NIGHT! UNSUPERVISED STAFF!!

I was going to a student by the name of Janeaa, and she did a beautiful job. She'd been doing this since October. However, on the last visit in February, she decided to just completely butcher my hair! I mean, I cannot do anything with it, that's how bad of a job she did.. There was no supervising teacher. I would not have minded if i hadn't been going to her. It took me a year to grow out my hair to one length, and in one fell swoop, she messed it up. She almost made it into a mullet. To this day, 3/29, I still cannot do anything with it. She tried covering it up with a curling...

Just Ducky!

I only had $20 dollars in my pocket and a job interview the next day. But I wasn't going to get ahead if I didn't look good. So I went here.

I was simply blown away. Winston did an AMAZING JOB. He was able to use his beak to hold the blow dryer, while using both his wings to totally fluff out my hair into a magnificent, confidence-getting Farrah-flip. He used his webbed feet -- something I'd find disgusting if done by a human, but somehow okay since it was a duck -- to really work in the finishing gloss at the end. He was dedicated. And he refused the money -- all he asked...

Horrible Service

I went a few months ago because a friend had gone there for school and said the salon was great. My previous cut was grown out and needed a refresher. The girl i had did an ok job. She seemed a little unsure and was asking the instructors questions, which I prepared myself for. The 1 instructor was professional and was very personable. The other was the total opposite. First, she totally ignored me and told the girl that the cut I asked for would be horrible for me (even though that was the cut I had already) and that my face was too fat as she looked me in the eye. Second, said the...

Complete horror

I am visiting NYC from Miami and needed a quick wash and blowdry. I searched on my iPhone for nearby places and found this place as the closest. I walk in and I was very plesantly greeted. I told them what service I needed and the lady that called me in put me in a chair and started washing my hair. She did a great job with that but when I was put in the chair for the blow dry the horror began. I clearly explained to her to use a round brush to make the ends curly. Im not sure if she had ever seen a round brush before and she had no idea how to use it. I asked one of the instructors to...
