I am here every year for a trade show, and while I am not a Marriott fan this hotel does make it easy to access the convention center without having to go outside into the elements. Pricing is not horrible, however, the elevators are slow and the rooms are starting to be a bit dated.

This Courtyard has good access to the rest of downtown Indy. The interior skywalk allows you access to the JW, the Marriott, and the Convention Center without having to go outside. It's right across the street from White River State Park and the canal walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Internet is free.
Good location for any convention as there is a interior walkway to the convention center. Parking is always expensive in downtown Indy so come prepared. The mini fridge did not work the entire stay but not a huge issue for me. But would've been nice if it had. Typical downtown hotel in that everything is a la carte.
