I typically don't write reviews because I'm not a great writer, but in this case it was easy. I called Comfort Central as a second opinion for my A/C repair since I was hoping to get my repairs done a little closer to what my budget could sustain. I don't have thousands of $$$ to just pay like that even though I do need my A/C working. At first, I was bothered that the repairman was in his truck and on the phone for about 15 minutes. When he did knock back on my door, he mentioned that he was able to update my equipment warranty to reflect my move-in date and got the parts covered under factory warranty thus saving me nearly $2,000. The previous company never even attempted to check into this. This company went above and beyond and for that reason, I felt it was my duty to offer this public "THANK YOU"
It is difficult to believe that there are honest and sincere contractors out there, but they exist! The repair guy articulated very well as to what was the problem with my heat pump and showed me how he determined that that piece was actually bad. Not a reliable company. I paid for their annual service contract and they refused to perform the service before the contract expired. When I tried to discuss the problem with management at the company, they failed to return phone calls?
This person is writing about someone else. Comfort Central has only been doing platinum plans for 3 years. Secondly, if a customer felt that their maintenance plan offered minimal benefits (filter changes), then how brilliant can you be to continue that for 7 years !
