Never had a bad trip to Wasabi. Everything is delicious. The dining area is small without being cramped, and they recently got a full bar. Great lunch box specials, and they're open until 11 almost every day.

Great mix of options, not too pricey, and they're laid-back if you want to linger over your drink and your book if it's not too busy. It hits a rare note of being a "nice" restaurant with good, healthy food, without being crazy expensive or formal.

My friends and I recently went to this restaurant, and none of us thought it was great. I tried the Bulkogi ($15), and the portion was so small my little nephew would have been asking for more. The meal was served on a large white rectangular plate, and there was more fruit on it than rice. The quality was good, but they should seriously consider serving larger portions.

Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: The vintage Park Shelton, the neighbor of the DIA, has come alive with new restaurants, including this Asian spot that has an extensive menu of sushi, sashimi and Japanese noodle and tempura dishes, as well as Korean hot pots and barbecue.
