Not a huge fan of this place. The service was great but sadly I can't say the same about the food. Everything we ordered was very greasy and somewhat bland.

Nice presentation, but that was the best of it. Good was extremely salty. Everything was covered to the point that was all you could taste. Would not go back.

I’ve had amazing arepas from the Ay! Arepa food cart, and so was excited to check out the restaurant Rubamba. I think this experience confirms how big a difference presentation can make – just look at how beautiful the arepa looks above, plated so precisely! Compare that to the food cart version (separate post to come) below, which while delicious, doesn’t have nearly the same oomph.

Visited Rabamba on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised to really be the only people in the restaurant. They have a great variety of latin options with really tasty meat choices. Hubby and I had the arepas and the pork empanada. The empanada was DELICIOUS! The meat was so tender and tasty. We will definitely go back when we are...
