Nurses have a habit of charging you for medications you never have received.

Surgeries called off because a nurse keeps making a mistake neurosurgeon keeps canceling surgery d/t what the PA says.

Then YOU are charged for the extra days you spending in the hospital for nothing.

Went to Sunrise Hospital with severe lumbar pain. Was admitted to Dr. Benjamin Venger's Service. Surgery was scheduled right away because an MRI showed a ruptured disk with a piece of disk piercing spinal column. Surgery scheduled for that night. Taken to room prepped for surgery, medications prior to surgery given. Then the P.A. calls doctor to say I was eating food. My husband was eating, not myself, so the nurse told the PA there was food in the room, and the PA called the doctor stating not to do the surgery because I the patient was stuffing myself. Surgery was canceled without anyone checking to see if I actually had food in my mouth. The doctor showed up the time surgery was due to come into my room to start screaming at me for eating. My husband jumped up screaming back at this doctor stating HE was the one eating not me and the nurse didn't care to listen to me just went & reported on his own. I had to wait 2 more days for surgery at my expense, and then Dr. Venger, had flown out of town, and had to rush back to do my surgery. He had me rushed into surgery, did a h@!%!**#~d job, and the surgery collapsed because he rushed thru it. I suffered for two months because of this doctor, and because I didn't have health insurance, I was entitled to physical therapy, walker, wheelchair.
