Information about this business (1)

Long ago, when men were not in the world, plants got to choose where they wished to live. The coffee bean – Buni – sought a softly lit, wet, wild place to grow. The aristocrat of flowering shrubs, Buni sought a high place from whence it might look down upon the lowly bush. And it wanted to be warm. Not hot. Not cold. Warm.
Buni looked the world over, and, though there were many places to grow,...

Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Filled with African art and pottery, the rambling rooms at Safari Cup offer many nooks and crannies in which to sip coffee and converse or get a bit of work done. Breakfast presents fresh-baked pastries and eggs, bacon and hash browns while lunchtime brings out a good selection of sandwiches, quiches and soups. Special African dishes often appear at lunch, such as curries, peri-peri shrimp and...

I had a recent run in with one of the owners of Safari Cup in which he verbally assaulted me when I asked him about an event his establishment was sponsoring. This confrontation took place via telephone. Someone had placed flyers on the vehicles of my tenants in a private parking area which is restricted to authorized users only. When I called ...

Nice owners/staff, and a cute shop in a great location. Unfortunately, the coffee is weak. Good flavour, aroma, and no bitterness....but weak.

Great coffee - iced or hot - Large selection of teas and smoothies also. Very friendly staff and owners, the kind of people who know their customers and often begin making your usual selection before you even get to the counter. St. Patricks Day festivities are second to none in town. Highly recommended.

Local musicians and singers meet every first and third Friday of each month to freestyle jam on instuments and sing. Old songs or new songs, jazz or R &B, nothing is off limits. Cover was $8. A beer was $2. Nice place to meet other singles, male and female. Atmosphere was very intimate and pleasant.
