In Short
In 1982, businessman Doug Cavanaugh opened the first Ruby's in Southern California's Newport Beach, naming it after his mother. Today, this nationwide chain--adorned with red...
Ruby's was at the pier location for many years, and I took my daughters there frequently as they grew up. They always began with a shake, then burgers with fries. We always enjoyed the view of the water. It was a fun place to eat.
Basic American comfort food with bright and cheer service. Can’t go wrong with a Cob salad, club sandwich, and Strawberry milkshake. Lots of parking.
TIP: Leave your car and dine first, then shop next at nearby Trader Joe's or Gelson's.
Thanks for reading. would appreciate...a thumbs up if you’ve found this helpful.
One of our favorite places to eat, great food, great service and awesome location. Grew up in HB and always look forward to a burger and shake when visiting.
Ruby's always has quality food and you get a great view at the same time! Some of the best shakes and malts around! I had the BLTA and it was delicious. As good as it gets for a BLT + avocado*. If you are hungry...and want to take a nice walk down Huntington Beach pier it is a great idea!
Sitting on the end of the Huntington Beach Pier, this diner is so much fun. 1950’s style diner is friendly and so much more than your chain fast food store.
I would definitely recommend a visit to everyone!
Food was great and service was fast.
