The bus service in Rockford is quite good, but for an area the size of Rockford, it needs to run more stops during later hours, and more on weekends. I rely on the bus to get to and from work regularly, and funding for our transit system should NOT be reduced. I would accept a 25 cent fare increase before accepting a cut in services.

I count on the bus as an essential part of my daily commute to and from work and to pick my son up from daycare. I would not be able to pick my son up and get home without the night routes and the weekend routes I use to get my errands done. I could loose my job if the night and weekend routes are taken away, and I know I'm not the only person in this type of situation. Many people get off work...

It gets you to where you need to go but I do wish the buses would run later since I work a late shift. The customer service needs help they are very rude and quick to hang up. I can say there only a select few that are actually nice when you talk to them.

I just want to give the bus driver of the Kishwaukee bus on Wednesday 2-4-15 the recognition he deserves for stopping his route and calling for help for the 62 year old gentleman that was found unresponsive on College St Wednesday. He's a great bus driver and a wonderful man.
