On Las Olas Boulevard, just steps from boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries, Fort Lauderdale's oldest hotel (circa 1936) evokes a time bygone with historical photos gracing hallways, and guest rooms outfitted with antique oak furnishings, ornamental palm trees, and a bold tropical color palate with a Tommy Bahamas throwback flair. Guest rooms are in either the original Historic Tower or...

Right on the Las Olas strip, this hotel was built in 1936 and renovated in 2002. It still retains its own boat dock, and the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi will make stops here on request. The 217 rooms are divided between two spaces: the original six-story building and a newer twelve-story Executive Tower. The latter in particular caters to business travelers with more than 10,000 square feet of...
Originally built in 1936, the Riverside is the oldest hotel in Fort Lauderdale. It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown. In fact, you can stay here without a rental car—take a cab, free tourist bus, or even walk to the beach along the newly revived Las Olas Boulevard. The vibe of the common areas is pioneer South Florida—ceiling fans, rattan furniture, and coral-rock accents, plus...

Older classy hotel but has been remodeled. Rooms average in size but comfortable with a balcony outside to enjoy. Right on trendy Las Olas Blvd.. So many places to eat, drink, and shop at. The room had a super view of the waterways and a lot of boat action. Saw many Ft. Lauderdale high rises buildings as a backdrop. Watched...
The staff at this hotel is very friendly and personable. Our room was spectacular, overlooking the canal nearby. You can't beat this location--right on Las Olas Blvd. The restaurant is outstanding. Price was quite reasonable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The hotel is located in the Las Olas shopping district. While the location is good (if you want to be near the shops), the hotel was really hit or miss. We started out with a miss. Apparently when you book through a 3rd party, they reserve a room for you in the old tower. The old tower is pretty rough....
Lets start with the good. I got a great rate on this hotel so my expectations weren't too high. Upon check in I decided to upgrade to a room with a balcony for an additional fee. I was pleasantly pleased with the room and hotel overall. The location is fantastic. Although its not on the beach Los Olas blvd offers...
This hotel is in the heart of downtown, close to shopping, food, entertainment. If you don't want to leave the hotel try the short rib grilled cheese. This may be my favorite sandwich on the boulevard. On the weekend make sure you listen to the band. They are mind blowing
