Everything was great! We found a hair in our mac and cheese unfortunately :( but other than that everything was great!
Upstairs seating was open , yet the bar was packed with dirty dishes and there was a dish bin sitting on the barstools. Downstairs seating was freezing. Sad because the decor and architecture is amazing. Cocktails were phenomenal and food as well. Service needs improvement.
Food had a nice presentation but was a let down on taste.....my food was warm when I was expecting it to be nice and hot.......the drinks were watered down....not enough alcohol or kick in them. The waiters were fine...a little on the inattentive side but ok. The ambiance was SUPER with the turned down LIGHTS and beautiful chandelier. The music was good...... Over all I would not recommend it....
Hearsay never disappoints. Our server Simone was efficient and accommodating as well as courteous. Moreover, with a large group of 8, the manager, Brittany stepped right in and ensured things were continuing to flow seamlessly. The overall experience is definitely a thumbs up.
Really good food and casual atmosphere. I had the chicken and waffles and was extremely happy with my choice. The bottomless mimosas were also great. My husband had the burger and fries and he didn't have any complaints. The place was more casual than I expected. We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.
