The Electric Car Company Of Long Beach in Long Beach is a terrible company! On August 3rd 2009, I called them to see if they could give me a repair estimate for my wrecked electric scooter. They said yes, bring it in. So while still recovering from my injury, I loaded my scooter onto my friend's pickup and drove 25 miles on the freeway to this place. They took a look at it and then said they'd first need a body work estimate. But they said they could run some diagnostic tests on the components. I asked for an estimate for the tests. They refused but said they would do it after the body work estimate was in. The whole trip was a waste, because of their lies! Eventually I gave them a body work estimate from a motorcycle place, and after several weeks of giving me the run around, they said there was a "miscommunication" and they would not be able to do it. IF BY MISCOMMUNICATION YOU MEAN LIE!! This is after I offered several times to PAY them for just writing up a simple estimate. Their series of false promises cost me a considerable amount of time, money and energy. BEWARE.
