When Clark's opened in their original location it was a ray of sunshine for me - no longer did I have to be happy with the watery American beers that had to be served ice-cold in order to stomach them. It was the closest thing to a British "city pub" that I had found in the area.

After a lengthy delay, Clark's Ale House has reopened at its new location. I've visited a couple of times in the evening and parked in the lot across the street, adjacent to the Lincoln bank building. My main reason for going: it's signature roast beef sandwich. It's just plain ole' good! I've sampled a couple of its 35 beers on...

Truly loved the old Clark's and was excited that they were reopening. We visited the new Clark's tonight. Not impressed at all! No where near the atmosphere as the previous establishment. Service was poor. Food selection and menu not the same. New rolls are terrible, they need to go back to the onion roll. No barley soup. Beef ice cold...

Definitely has the best beer selection in the area and is curated by some of the most knowledgable bar staff as well. These guys are working hard to get beers the likes of which Syracuse has never seen before, so if you stop by and see something on the tap list you've never heard of, order it because chances are its damn good if it's here. The food is also amazing (get the roast beef). Clark's...

Big mistake was telling me it was yesterday's. roast beef heated up(not). I wanted the fres sliced like the old Clark's. FRESH! NO soup...

32 drafts, 1 sandwich.

This tavern is favorite stop for hungry downtown workers. They flock here for one thing—thick roast beef sandwiches piled high with tender meat. At lunchtime the menu is a bit more varied, with a popular cheese platter, several salads and other sandwiches for offer. At night, however, the only food available is the famous succulent sandwich. With more than 30 beers on tap—including ales aged in...
