Bright Fillmore Street cafe serves up classic bistro fare with West Coast flair.

Whether a light lunch during a shopping spree, a fine dinner with those close to you, or an outdoor brunch, Chouquet's is your French Pacific Heights neighborhood restaurant waiting to host you.\n\nBesides our lunch, brunch, dinner and dessert selections, we have over 15 wines by the glass (including champagne) and over 70 wines with special emphasis on excellent value, smaller vineyard wines from the Pacific Northwest, Oceania, South America, and Europe. In addition, we serve our favorite beers on tap: "1664" from France, Sierra Nevada from California, and a "Guest" beer that changes...

About Chouquet's Chouquet's was not designed to be the next hip and trendy restaurant. It was not designed to be an ode to a country and its cuisine. It was created to provide three elements of what we consider a memorable meal out. First, our kitchen focuses on a balance of new and familiar tastes served up in lighter dishes that allow our diners to settle into the comfort of what they...

By day, this casual-yet-sleek Euro bistro is filled with light from big pane windows, and its outdoor seating draws a number of diners happy for the opportunity to have lunch alfresco. In the evening, the lights dim and candlelight dances…

Burnished wood floors and cheery orange accents set the mood at this small, light-filled eatery. A sleek bar lined with mod stools, shiny wood tables set with simple white...

Picked Chouquet's for a Valentine dinner - unfortunately it disappointed. Pros: sat on street patio, cute, quiet warm (!) friendly server. Decent fixed menu for $75. Oysters, filet mignon, yum. Cons: picky yes but never offered/served bread as other tables got theirs, harried "bus boy" left all dirty plates sitting way too long and rare check ins from server as the staff seemed too rushed and...

Good reviews made me choose Chouquet's for a dinner with friends. For a French Bistro there is no ambiance, the furniture is worn, the noise level high. Food was basically alright, the lamb chops good, the selection however rather limited.

What a beautiful, welcoming patio for a sunny day. And like most restaurants in France, very dog friendly. My speaking 100+ lb Rhodesian Ridgeback? Pas de problème.

I ordered the chicken . It was overcooked and the chicken breast was almost inedible. I learned from overhearing another waiter telling other customers that they cook their chicken ahead of time (rotisserie) and that...

This is more like a diner than a restaurant, except for the food prices and small portions. Very, very noisy, non-existent atmosphere, fake French, way overpriced and a major disappointment. I can't find anything to recoomend.
