I've been back to visit and drool/lust many times since my initial review, and the experience remains excellent. I most recently called to place an order for a very specific item and the shop was more than willing to help me, and things couldn't have gone any better than they did. Thanks guys! This Guitar shop is top-notch. Billy (one of the owners) is a good guy to talk to. He really knows his stuff. he also hires knowledgeable staff. Capitol Guitars is by far the most customer-centric music gear store in the Twin Cities. These guys are musicians besides business owners and they are incredibly knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to satisfy the customer every time. The prices are on par with any big box too. Best guitar shop in town!

Capitol Guitars was established in 2004 by Eric Berg & Bill Bergeron of the twin cities local sci-fi punk band Invasion Earth. As gigging musicians, we understood the need for a full-service guitar store in Downtown St. Paul. We wanted to create a store "By Musicians, For Musicians" that could meet the needs of musicians.
