I went with family who said that this restaurant was highly rated in the U.S. However, the service was slow and poor, the food portions were minuscule ( and I don't eat that much). The quality was good, but now better than I have had at other good restaurants.

My favorite new Portland restaurant! We had an awesome lunch here including a gravlax sandwich with cucumbers, fresh dill and avocado. The clams were wonderful. The creamy polenta was out of this world with a poached egg on top. Don't miss. Finally, at the Meyer lemon soufflé was out of this world. You'll want to take a bath in it.

This small Pastry Luncheonette is tucked into a block around the corner from Powell’s bookstore. We enjoyed excellent tea from their large selection, served in warmed pots with some pastries. Wonderful food and terrific service. A bit crowded at the counter. Quick was a little too salty but sandwich was great. A bit pricy but then I did have wine and aperture! Terrific deserts

While this may be one of the smallest of restaurants, the cuisine delivers huge flavor through exceptional execution. That this sliver of a restaurant offered not one, but three choices of Champagne by the glass was our first pleasant surprise – and the surprises kept coming.
