I went to Z's when it first opened at the Shelbyville Road location. At first, I loved this place! I enjoyed getting the "new talent" stylists for their fresh ideas and creativity. So, I was given a gift certificate and went in for a facial. I am a facial girl and get them quit often. I must say it was ok, but not what I expected.The place is nice, but I prefer a more personable atmosphere.

This is a massive herding of clients wrapped in a fancy package set in the 70's mentality for those who want a dated 'signature cut'. People - get a clue - are you all sheep? You're herded in to change and wait. You're herded by someone else to get your hair washed. You're herded to the stylist - who has varying degrees of talent and they're all indentured servants to the salon for 2 or so...
