Hip. Fun. Funky. Retro yet modern. I was looking for something a little more alternate than a traditional hotel, and The Dean delivered. A little unconventional, yes, but worth it. Good central location, friendly staff. Great, modern room (on 3rd floor). Valet or self-park close by. Cool Euro elevator. Great eats/drinks within walking distance.

Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to all of Providence. We were impressed with all staff members. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and quiet. we stayed on the 4th floor and had no difficulty falling asleep! There is a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel with a fabulous brunch. Love the rooms. The layouts are unique and the furnishings sparse, yet statement making. Nothing more than you'd need, and not lacking of anything for a good stay for vacation. A bit funky but high quality. I usually stay at modern new hotels and took a chance this time and it was fun! Excellent if small room (I had the bunk bed room which was fine for one). Exactly as described and a good value for Providence. Nice lobby area and awesome coffee shop. Was in town for a show...

Chic, fashionable, and even a little offbeat

Our two night stay was delightful...we felt that we could have been in Greenwich Village, Sedona, or even Austin. (We live locally but believe that you do not have to go far to be 'away')
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the restaurant Faust was very good.
Our only concerns were that there is no seating in the room suitable...
