Cockaroaches everywhere!!!

About a month after I moved in I saw the first cockroach. I wasn't sure what it was, but after telling the office about it, they were not at all surprised and told me that they had them also. They then informed me that these are the american cockroaches (they're huge, like 2"" long), and are coming out of the boiler room and basement.

As time went on the bugs got so bad, I would see at least 4-5 a day in my apartment. There were also at least a few in the laundry room, and occasionally even some in the hallway that had died the night before.
