It was my first visit into Potager Cafe this evening. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the cafe and the food. The owners were a delight and made the experience that much better. Will definitely be back!

Butternut Squash and Pear Soup. We tried the quiche, salad, and the soup of the day. All tasted very good and the soup was made with much time and care. I absolutely loved the feel of the restaurant and the concept of "paying what is fair". I hope that no one would go in there and short change the owner for he really has a cute little restaurant that offers something different for Arlington

The Shanghainese specialties are best at Chris and Alex Yao’s attractive Chinese bistro. Order the xiao long bao soup dumplings, shrimp with tea leaves, lion’s head meatballs and za jiang noodles, and you can’t go wrong. If you’re adventurous, don’t miss the jellyfish. Full bar. Local and fresh ingredients highlighted. Different menu daily, based on available local market. Fabulous food. Small place. Come early or risk missing a taste of everything. It's a "pay what you think it's worth" kind of place. Recent visit, there was slow-braised beef, couscous with fresh herbs and lemon, mushroom and gruyere quiche, roasted root vegetables, and a killer beet and sweet potato...
