Smoked goodness

First time ever to try it and it was great BBQ. The outside of both the brisket and beef ribs almost had a krispy-krunch to it that had the savory smokey goodness flavor locked in. Ribs easily peeled off the bone and the brisket just melted in your mouth. Both the baked beans and habanero mac-n-cheese had some good heat...

BBQ to die for

This was THE BEST BBQ I've had in a long time. The food is wrapped in brown paper--no plates--but it was fabulous tasting!!! I brought some home to eat with my own favorite sauce, but the meat tastes so much better with Lockhart's sauce. The coleslaw tasted better the next day. The potato salad had no mustard in it, so...

A friend of mine recommended I try Lockhart while in Dallas. I wanted to try some authentic Texas BBQ so we tried it sunday afternoon and it was phenomenal! I love how they just wrap up all meat in some brown paper that you carry to your table. They offered us a free sample of the habanero mac n' cheese...

Not so with Lockhart...

We went for an early dinner when it wasn't busy. We talked to the meat servers for a little while to get a better idea of what to try and what they liked. We settled on the brisket and ribs. Both were out of this world. They cut the meat right in front of you, and you can have as...

Lines can be long at this Plano sibling of the Bishop Arts District original, and for good reason: The barbecue absolutely rocks. Order at a counter and your smoked meats are handed over wrapped in butcher paper; that’s your plate. Grab a local craft beer from the bar and prepare to swoon. Don’t miss the moist or fatty brisket, pork chop, shoulder clod and turkey. Sides are good, too. Strange...
