Being at the Levitt shell for a free Ballet performance was incredible. It's perfectly cushioned in a grove that allows for nice shade while your outside. The landscaping is well kept and they provide drinks, small foods, and restrooms. If you have the chance to catch a show there, DO IT!

Absolutely free. This is an open air amphitheater in Overton Park, in Memphis, Tn. Get there a little early so you can get a parking place. You will walk only about 100-200 yards to the amphitheater. Great concerts most of which are free, children can play

This attraction has concerts, most of which are free, mainly in the summer. It is outdoors so take a blanket or lawn chairs. You can take a picnic basket or buy food there. Lots of babies and young children.
