When living uptown we may Friday ($5 mojitos and they are the best I've had) a routine. Apps including arepas, empanadas and croquetas are all very good and the scallop entree is amazing. Service is fair, usually under staffed- which is a shame but I still love the food. PS. If sitting at the bar you can still order food and they are more attentive. This is my 2nd visit to LaTorre's and it was as good as the first. I had the Paella with the spicy tomato sauce. All the shrimp, scallops, mussels & lobster were cooked to perfection. My wife and I tried Latorre's last Valentine's Day. Cannot remember EXACTLY what it was we had, but ordered the prefix menu special for the holiday. All I can say is we were blown away - first time having Latin cuisine like this but it was incredible.
