I've lived here for about 5 months now and for the most part this building is nice -- the apartments are well remodeled. That being said, the staff is deplorable (except for Lisa a wonderful door women who takes the time to learn every residents name and apartment number). It states in the building information that the door staff is supposed to be there until 11 on week nights and all night on...

I've only lived in the Fisher Building for 5 months and my experience has been awful since day one. When we first toured the apartment one of the leasing agents promised that the buildings SHARED utility bill would be under $80 but my roommate and I have received bill over $150 on a pretty regular basis. On top of overpaying for utilities, the building staff should be completely wiped out with...

This building probably has the worst management in all of Chicago. If I could give this building a ZERO rating, I would. The elevators are ALWAYS broken. I just had to walk up 16 flights of stairs to get to my destination because all 3 elevators have been broken for over 8 hours. In addition, I have also been stuck in an elevator with 10 people for more than 15 min. At no given time within the...

Once again, Daniel Burnham struck it big, designing one of the most original and whimsical buildings in the city. In this case he truly lived up to his motto, "Make no little plans, they have no magic to stir man's blood." The building's neo-Gothic ornamentation reflects its name. Fish, shells and other ocean-themed designs can be found on the lower stories. For unknown reasons, this treasure...

In 2000, the spectacular building was converted from offices to modern luxury apartment homes. The apartments still have many great aspects of the original building like the mosaic and marble hallways...
