1948 - Gus Crassons Jr. transformed Big State into a drug store.

1951 - Clay Burney was hired as head pharmacist and store manager. He and his wife Jean later became part owners of Big State Drug.

1992 - The Burney’s sold the business to Brian and Stacy Smith.

2014 - The Smith’s closed Big State in May. Rick & Susan Fairless...

Awesome food and shakes . A variety of selections to choose from . Salads are huge and they never skimp on the toppings . Great breakfast foods as well .

Colorful & retro vibe, friendly staff, standard food (Good thing it's reasonably priced!), but yummy shakes. I suggest just coming here for the ice cream (the serve Blue Bell here!) or shakes with your kiddos.
