The revival of this former SoMa staple lands in Mid-Market's Twitter building, bringing midpriced Mexican mains and family-style share plates to the booming culinary hub; lunch, dinner and happy hours also feature wine, beer and a sizable list of margaritas. Soaring ceilings, an expansive bar, plenty of table seating and splashy accents add a casually comfortable vibe to the lively setting.
Seems to be a great spot for hanging out after work. Big bar area and pretty noisy when we walked in but the back area for dining was much quieter. Service was very accommodating and it filled up quickly with diners going to the theatre and other events happening around the Civic Center. The service was quick and the food very tasty. Food was great as always but our server, though friendly, was slow and didn't check often enough with our group of 8 and we had to ask another server for assistance. Our server tended to disappear whereas other servers were often around with other patrons.
The food and service is exceptional —we went before our theater tickets for Aladdin. The lobster puffy tacos are good. I had their mesquite grilled steak fajitas - wonderfully seasoned and tasty
We were regular customers at the Cadillac Bar when it was open on Minna, so were thrilled to see that it had re-opened. Booked a table for 9 almost two months before we needed it (that's just how excited we were). We arrived early (post theater) and were seated promptly. The restaurant was almost empty and we were very disappointed to see that they sat us in the back corner of the restaurant....
