The main thing we like about going to Bayou Place are the restaurants around it, the ease of parking and the actual venue itself. The acoustics are good and the access is easy.
Definitely not the fanciest place to go more live music. A little small, but great when you get to sit close to the stage. Have also seen roller derby here. Places to eat nearby and parking is not a real problem (underground parking).
I can’t believe this place stays in business. The problem with this venue is the seating. The seats are fold downs and are hooked together. Saw Dancing With The Stars-or tried to. Don't bother paying extra for floor seats. The stage is so low and folding seats are all at the same level, so it's nearly impossible to see what's happening on the stage. It doesn't help that people are holding their cell phones above everyone to film and there is no policy against it...
